Right now this talented musical genius is receiving quite a bit of negative publicity from people who are overly annoyed by her presence at NFL football games. The amount of camera shots and camera time she gets is what is annoying people, to the point she is be penned as ‘ruining football.’

I wanted to really highlight what she has not only done for all of us but what we can learn from her. These apply to your business, your relationships, your brand, who you’re being. I bet there is something that everyone can relate to here, or certainly one element from which they can learn.
She is a creative genius…
…in her songwriting skills, what she does and in the vocabulary she uses in her songs. You’ll see that if you pay attention to the words, to the vocabulary that she uses.
She has an incredible amount of discipline…
… that goes along with the musical talent that to me goes beyond what most people display. Discipline is one of the requirements for success, and it can be hard to stick with something, especially when it is met with criticism.
She is an incredible vocal advocate…
…for the music industry and for women in that industry. With gender aside, she has courageously done an incredible amount for artists in general and their ability to own their work.
She has also advocated for fair compensation for the work to the artists from streaming sources, to the point where she’ll stand by her word and her values and remove her songs from the platform because they won’t pay her fairly.
She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, even in the face of criticism. For example, she took all of her music off of Spotify because they wouldn’t pay her fairly.
Connection. Her ability to create a genuine connection with people is off the charts. She has an authentic, compassionate connection with her fans, that you can just see. She has a true ability to create this connection with others in her industry as well as those outside of it.
She has a natural magnetic personality (takes one to know one) in a world full of people with masks, who are pretending to be something they’re not in order to get something they want! People who make promises they don’t intend to keep. She is the opposite. She keeps her word, she performs a promised concert for hours, even in the pouring rain!
She does all this while under the constant intense scrutiny of every move she makes, by the media.
New Power Couple. She and Travis Kelce so far have created a relationship that is again or continuing to redefine the Power Couple. It used to be that behind every successful man is a strong woman. It is becoming a partnership of walking alongside each other, each a powerful, successful part of that union. Walking along side. Both with incredible success and living for what they want, together.
They are not the first. We see this with David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham, two strong extremely successful individuals walking side by side with each other to create the life they want.
It’s fabulous to watch. It’s also fabulous to be a part of. Taylor Swift is a bright light in a time when we need that light, to show those who need to see it that things can be different. That there are role models for both young and old that can bring a new outcome or result. The best part is, there will be more, her tour is not over. She has a brand new album coming out. She’s made history as the only artist to receive the Grammy for Album of the Year 4 times! I’m inspired to see what’s next.
